Just putting it out there - what is your preference?
Had a discussion the other night with a group of vaping friends and the subject of flavours came up, it turned into a bit of a marmite moment :D. It was my fault really, I had mentioned that I had some breakfast cereal
E-Liquids up on the site and I was not expecting the discussion that came up - It ranged from uuurrggg to wow that sounds great and can't wait to try it so people " Flavoured or Unflavoured" ?

When I started vaping I tried unflavored because at the time all I wanted to do was quit smoking. Slowly, the sales clerk started introducing mild flavors. It was about 3 years or so ago that I went through a really hard financial period and couldn't afford to buy flavors for my DIY ejuice. Since that time all I have vaped is unflavored. DIY is super simple and cheap. Yes, I'm a cheap bastard and have been off the cigarettes for 5 years and 7 months.

I make sweet flavoured recipes I've created myself. Probably amateurish quality compared to some of the DIY pros we have around here but I enjoy them. :)

Not a big fan of Fruity Liquids though 88 Vape did a couple of Salts that were nice, Berries and Sweet Strawberry. I do like my Custards and blame @DeeDee for that, she put some in a package she sent me a while ago and i was hooked. I do like Tobacco flavours and they have to be nice, the best i have tasted was Firewater X which put Tobacco and Custard together and it was a Limited Edition Juice, they are in the process of making some more and i can't wait. For those that don't know Firewater X was a blend created by @Lee and Manabush. Beautiful stuff.

I found all bought juice had too much flavour and for my tastes only baccy based flavours will do.

My diy flavours are all a mix of baccy flavours which might have additions like a little fruit or rum or coffee or blackjack.

I always mixed at fairly low flavour percentages, never more than 5% flavour and it has reduced over time to more like 1% or 2%..
I found that the more I reduced the flavour, the more sensitive to the flavour I am.

I have mixed without flavour and vaped nic shots. It is all a perfectly fine vape. Any reduction in satisfaction without flavours is marginal for me and I would choose it over the, to my tastes, over flavoured commercial juice.

I would beat @Diver9543 in a cheap bastard competition and may well give up flavours at some time.

Some flavours are just wrong as a vape. Custard stands out on that front for me.

I've tried vaping zero nic base only and it made me cough like crazy. I was being cheap at the time trying to clean the flavour out of coils I was using to test various flavour concentrates.
