Hi Guys,

I have recently bought a Fogger V4, I am just trying to get to grips with wicking! It has flooded and dry hits, any tips would be great!

But the main trouble is I am finding the air flow control ring is loose so I set it then while having a vape it moves! Any tips on tightening it!!

Any help would be great!!

Thanks

Wrap a little bit of PTFE tape around where the AFC ring sits before you assemble it, and poke some holes in it where the airholes are. It wont last forever but it will tighten it up enough so it stops wandering around.

From what i remember with the fogger, you want to cut the ends of your wick at an angle, then the very tips should slightly dip into the channels, i'm not talking a lot of wick in the channels, maybe a gnats pube worth, rest of the wick rests on the deck.

I still have a couple foggers so might try wicking one up later to see how it works.

Mine was the same- Slip a small piece of kanthal ribbon between ring and base- Obviously not where the holes are though- Mine is better now.

^^^This, cut the wicks at a 45 degree angle, make sure that you can pull the cotton through the coil and is not too tight, it swells big time. Once cut at 45 degrees, wet the wicks, i put some of the cotton in the channel (about half way down), then prod the rest on the deck.

Airflow control ring - take it off, never used mine and i find that it tends to help liquid drip out the airholes.

Re the air flow ring - take the ring out. Tap it slightly with a mug so that it is no longer a perfect circle and fit that on.
PS - Only one or two taps a time until it gives a tight fit.
