Just thought everyone should be aware
(text from FB post)
Ever-changing regulations by the ICAO, IATA and Royal Mail - Lithium batteries are now illegal to send via Royal Mail.
We've been in talks with several courier services and after a successful trial have selected DPD Local as our new delivery provider. We can now offer DPD Next Working Day, Fully Tracked for £1.99 - The same as we offered Royal Mail 1st for. The only negative comments we've ever had about Fogstar have been the delivery service offered by RM - and we feel a fully tracked - with in-flight tracking, next day service would give our customers the delivery times they expect.
We do still offer RM for non-battery orders, at the previous rates.
Thanks for everyone's support - This has come as quite a blow to us. However, we have to abide by all UK, EU, International Aviation Rules - as well as RM's Rules.
Normal service to Scotland has now resumed
