For those who drip

When I first whick my RDA I drip all over the coil and cotton let it soak and drip again you'll get used to the well size and know how much it can take. But I take the cap off and drip all over [emoji4]

The Drop doesn't need capillary action dripping. I just drop my eliquid on the coil but I have a 4.5mm spaced big single barbed wire build in it usually which works great capillary or non. Drop soloing before the Solo I guess haha.

How big is that coil? Edit just saw its 4.5mm. Does the drop work well single coil?

It does. I keep it in rotation with mostly more high end stuff like the recoil rebel, 502, Dotrda v4 and apocalypse gen2 . Going large and spacing sorta is how you play the afc . Framed builds and large Clapton singles i found alot of turbulence which is why twisted ss is the way I like to go in the drop. That build ohms to around .18 so you still achieve a fast warm purge free vape off it. I guess you could say the solo works off the same principle only they refined the afc and ditched 2 post to make it more user and small device friendly.

I mught see how some of my coils work in it in single mode. Although they will end up coming out at .5 and .45 ohms although they are all 3mm

Might be a bit on the cool side. Ive found .25 to .15 on fully open afc to be my sweet spot. Also you want surface material from the coil as a obstruction so maybe try spacing the width of the top afc line with coil for a servicable vape. Never tried below a 4mm coil in this configuration. I use drill bit backs to achieve larger sizes as they're in metric as well in the US. I was going to try this build vertical as I recently realized its probably awesome ha.

I run in TC mode and at the min got dual build at .22 dont think tc runs that well below this. Might get some big coils at about the same to see how they do.
