What's new

Found some genuine COV Wraith bottles!!

OK, bottle came from FT and yes they fit, not as soft as the bottles supplied with the Wraith but they'll do.
The metal needle tips and caps are rubbish but standard tips and caps from most juice bottles fit for carrying and storage.
One little disappointment is the tube that fits under the CoV bottle tip does not fit the FT bottle so for now I need to keep using the CoV tip & tube, standard tips need a wider tubing which should work I suppose but now I need to source some tubing, what a palaver! Sure someone posted some dimensions for tubing before??

Had an email from the official UK and EU distributor for CoV who informs me they are expecting "a very small quantity" of bottle in about a week but don't see the point now if the FT bottles will do.

To add to this another option is to buy some pf vapes 10 ml juice and the bottles are actually ideally suited to squonk. Not to soft, not to hard. Fits perfectly plus awesome free juice.

I've never bought 10ml from PF ;) but do have an old 10ml bottle of a cherry sampler he sent out to some of us and it has the same tip bore underneath as regular bottle tips.
The Wraith bottle tip has a smaller bore PLUS the tubing has a sleeve to make it a tight leakproof seal in the tip so using standard bottles from FT or PF or wherever will still need tubing and sleeves to make a tight seal.
I need to find a place that sells tubing to see what fits standard tips and what to use as an extra sleeve for best seal.

Have a look at medical tubing. Aquarium tube should be fine but medical obviously should be sterile.

I've just collected up my spair pf vapes bottles as they fit my yilong geyscano perfectly too. Bonus.

Found a few places (some recommended on UK Squonk forum) that sell silicone food grade tubing.
Wraith (and others it seems) use 4mm outer and 2mm inner tubing but no tips on any juice bottles I have would work with that as they have an inner diameter at the bottom of the tip of 5.5mm.
Most places are out of stock of the 2mm/4mm so ordered some 2mm/6mm to see if I could make that work with standard juice bottle tips ...

@mannikon
Let me know how you get on - just been trying to figure out why my Wraith not squonking.
After half a bloody hour checking the wicking and the pin, discovered the bottle had split right at the top of the neck, where you fit the cap and tubing in, so the vacuum effect was lost so no feed to the deck.
The cap and tube are fine, so kept for future use.
Not happy !!
Using the spare that came in the box, so going to order some of those bottles you found.
Cheers Jon

Fear not, solutions are found!
First off the FT bottles are fine, as are probably lots of other standard 10ml bottles, the FT bottle are quite soft and squeezy though so at the price well worth buying.
The tip and tube combo from the supplied Wraith bottles fit but what happen when THEY wear out?
The standard tips (from all the empty bottles I use from 100ml down to 10ml) just need tubing that fits and is safe and flexible.
Just arrived today!

So: FT bottles https://www.fasttech.com/p/1425400 chuck away the caps and needles and replace with standard tips and caps (caps for when storing)
Tips and caps are pretty standard but the ones I use are specifically from iBottles but not sure if they sell them without bottles but for example https://www.ibottles.co.uk/products...tip-e-liquid-e-juice-child-resistant-cap.html are their standard penshaped or unicorn 30ml bottles currently about 20p each (need to buy a few dozen at least to make it worthwhile esp with postage) and tips and caps come free.
The tubing I got is 6mm outer and 2mm inner from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221489619...49&var=520349204288&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Tubing fits perfectly into the standard tip then pop onto either a standard bottle or the FT bottle and away you go.
