Why do I have to upload a copy of my passport or driving license to make a purchase? I've never had to do this on any other site.

ive had this once before on app store to buy a £2 app. problem is with a valid paper driving licence they wouldnt accept it and locked my app account and email account as well.
never had it in 3 years buying juice though unless its because its from Ireland and not the UK mainland.

i personaly would not use a company that asked to see my driving licence uploaded to buy something. while i respect comanies have policies to follow. some people just dont feel comfortable doing it. last company that wanted to do a similar thing i wont use under any circumstance now. i personaly think it is madness and ? why a company wants details. just my thoughy oppinion on it not trying to be rude or anything like that. you can be satisified that someone is old enough without need for passport/drivinglicence. i thought you have to be 18 to use paypal in 1st place.

Fair enough, but why can't you just ask me to click a box confirming I'm over 18 like most tpd compliant sites do?

Twice that has stopped me purchasing from vapewild, juice as i liked the samples i got from expo and then i was gonna get on the funky 160 hype train but as soon as i saw age verification page i instantly closed browser and got a cheap beater mod elsewhere.
I understand thats your policy but its just not for me.
