@VapeWild . you need to understand in this day and age passing such personal details over the internet is not something that anyone with sense would do, crooks can gain access to these sort of details ie copies of passports and use them in unsavoury ways. If you think about it would you risk Isis getting hold of your passport details, or any hacker looking to steal identities.
This practice of yours is open to abuse and truthfully bad, and against good business sense. as said you need to be 18 to hve a paypal account that in itself conforms to age varification unless you are upto something dodgy then i see no reason to ask for copies of driving licences, passports or even credit card details, it is peoples rights to refuse to give over such sensitive data, now can i please have your full bank account details including your password and your paypal account and password, i promise not to use them but i may share them with other organizations.
Your anser is going to be sod off mate, but hopefully you understand why everyone is saying sod off to handing over their priveledged info to yourselves.

Good luck to you i guess your going to need it, imagine it's bullseye, is it worth gambling all the money you could have to win Bullys star prize ie everyones passport details and driving licences or would you say you've had a great day and stick with the money.
No offence meant by this post it is constructed to make you think about things and why everyone is up in arms about your age varification

Peace

Fear of identity theft is a real problem nowadays. Even if you are TOTALLY trustworthy there is a danger of hackers getting hold of the information.

Just to add, where does it say in the rules and regs of tpd that photo I'd is required. Age verification yes but that can be done by asking for them to enter their dob.
If you take a look at the recommended juice suppliers list I set up there is over 200 suppliers on there and none ask for a photo I'd.

What I don't understand is what's to stop my eldest getting my passport out of my draw and sending a copy in then ordering? What's next live webcsm chat to see if your the person placing the order? The whole situation is a joke unless its the IRA trying to get passport information to clone passports [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Looks like it's pretty easy to verify someone's age using online checks such as electoral register or credit agencies and absolutely no mention there of requiring "sensitive" documents to be uploaded.

@VapeWild, do you have to do this because your parent company is US-based, or is it perhaps an Irish legal requirement? Or any other valid reason? Or is this the method you use just because?

Asda are owned by Walmart. I can stick a crate of Stella and 200 L&Bs on my order without having to send off my passport.

Just been on the site, and watched the help video on id verification. Don't like the annoying American squarking woman.
Not much on the site interests me. Very small amount of mods, nothing special.
