First off hello, just signed up :)

I'm sure this is one of the most asked questions on here,

I'm currently using an ego with an aclear dual coil,

Looking to move onto my first mod,
It's between the vamo but which one v2 or v3?

Or the I taste svd

And The smoktech sid,

Which would you recommend or any others that would be a good first mod?

Also are Panasonic batteries okay to use?

Many thanks,
Shaun

For me its the Vamo. I love it. I would go for the stainless steel version, it has a quality finish and a great feel to it. Got an Ego ee2 plonked on top of mine which has a generous capacity of 3.5ml. Use it in Mode 2 with VW for a great vape. It needs unprotected batteries to work. Mine are Panasonic. I use a single 18650. Buy quality batteries, avoid ebay at all costs and buy from an e-cig dealer. The Vamo is great value for money. You will get further opinions about other devices, so in the end it will be down to your own informed choice. When I made my choice, price was an issue, hence my choice of the Vamo and really glad it was my choice of device.

Many thanks for your reply,
Would you suggest the v3 over the v2 I'm not really keen on the look of the v3 but it is the latest one..
I definitely won't be buying any dodgy batteries from eBay!

I am the same, but @stealthvape to the rescue... he has Vamo v3 OLED but in the SS... so I now have 2 Vamo's V2 and a V4 :D

EDIT: Not all sellers on Ebay are dodgy, Torchy is a great guy and supplies via another forum here is his Ebay shop lots on here use him

I have the Smoktech Sid, and find the vape to be a bit nicer on this than on the vamo I had before (Which died... due to me)... The sid is a lot lighter as well, and has an oled screen (as does the vamo v3). Menu wise, it takes a while to get used to, but once you have familiarised yourself with it you could do it in your sleep :)

I'd second the recommendation for the Stealthvape vamo V4 in stainless... great device.

I started vaping on a s.s. vamo from fasttech (great device) a protank and a couple of 306 drippers
Grabbed batteries from Torchy on UK Vapers (also ebay) but pm'd and paid him directly for lower prices ;)

As I have posted before, forums are great to get differing views and opinions and quite frankly everyones opinion is correct. What is a negative for one individual can be a positive for another, ie. I like the weight of the Vamo with the large battery, some do not. As I posted, price was a consideration for me at the time of purchase and I like the look of the Vamo and it is simple to use. Apologies if I caused offence to anyone trading on ebay I was simply relating from my own experience and in any case most genuine traders do have their own web site in addition to their ebay listings. :whiteflag:
