Feck me - if a shotgun doesn't ensure social distancing, I dunno what will!
Well it can fall under "outdoor pursuits" or sport, depends on if you are making it competitive or not really. I am glad to see that this won't make changes to my life and I can carry on as normal really, well, with the added bonus that the police will be more distracted with anyone breaking to rule of 6. I'm just glad sheep don't count in the rule of 6, phew. That's nice, at least we know that @ForestMagpie can carry on as usual through this.
Quote from the article.
"Confirmation that the latest health protection regulations permit groups of up to 30 to take part in any sports gathering was published only minutes before coming into force"
Although I am not quite sure how magpies idea of sport would be viewed by the law is debateable.
I hunt/shoot [emoji1] maybe I should change my name to Tarquin [emoji23] [emoji23]

It's true though. I've had an email from BASC ( British Association for Shooting and Conservation) saying shooting meets are exempt. [emoji106]They have picked grouse shooting - but the same law also exempts football and paintball
Im going to go out on a limb and suggest that news item was from something like the independant ....
