Tc mode. Similar to wattage mode in a way. You alter the temp instead of altering the wattage. as said 80 watts is enough. If you have a DNA75 squonker or a drone which is a 166w mod you can set your tc up and get it to work really well as well as customizing the vape you get, a bit of faff though but worth it. DNA mods you can set the preheat punch ie 70w for a second this will preheat the wire ie Ni200, titanium, ss of varying types etc but may not even get to 1 second before it throttles back to keep the set temp. Now most mods do have settings for various wires but most maybe a little bit out with its calculations if you have a tc setting for custom then you can find the wire settings and add them to your mod or add the required digits from the table in the second post here. https://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/...ads/tcr-values-for-ss316.108214/#post-1180087
If you feel these are not right then you can adjust the setting by 1 or 2 either up or down till one of the values next to it works good.

it is a learning curve and more people on here will be absolutely more knowledgeable than me in tc vaping.
The good of tc vaping is more flavour or to get a certain flavour to pop and others will say better flavour as well, i don't really notice the better flavour but i would say it is more cleaner taste.
Give it a go there isn't much to loose, you can still vape using just the wattage setting as long as you are not using ni200 or titanium.

Thanks mate. I'll have to do some reading on TC modes now and give it a try. All my mods have TC modes but I've avoided them because it's something I don't understand how to set up etc. I'm guessing I would choose TC stainless steel options then for the pre-made coils I use by Demon Killer?

The coils in ss do they have ss316 or ss316l or something other as there are a few types of SS wire, just check the given setting and add that. i think its 0.91 for ss316 then something different for 316l so just make sure and use the value given in manual tcr Dunno if you have a dna mod but if so use the sight Steam engine as you can download the settings for whatever wire and upload them onto your mod.
building in ss for temp control start off using whatever is least complex and the highest ohm's in the premaids as this will be best for someone new to tc. dial your watts upto about 50 to start and 260 celcius see how it goes then play with the temp you can add wattage if you feel it needs more heat faster to begin this hits the temp faster or lower the wattage if it seems to much at first.

Yeah I'm enjoying it alot. I've nothing else to compare it with so I can't say things like "it would be better if it did this" etc but it's definitely opened up the possibilities for me to consider other RDA type tanks that can be used with squonk mods.

I am enjoying my G box, I have a fair few squonk mods but I think it is one of the best mods but with a couple of downfalls. The ramp up time is great and thought I would never meet one but it beats my drag for ramp time, same parallel claps, same ohms etc. An impressive kit though to be fair selling it at £67.99 was not a turn on for me so discounted it for myself lol. But the battery life is great on it, the only one that does beat it is the dna drone for longevity. The 2 downfalls are the placement of the up/down buttons in relation to the squonk bottle, very easy to press them when squeezing bottle and the 2nd is having to use the same space as batteries, meaning they can fall out while refilling bottle. I have tried it with a VV mesh, dead rabbit, pulse 24, stock radar, druga ... and just as impressive across the board. The Radar is not a bad building deck to be honest, good wicking space and drip tray is nice. The only thing I may replace is the bottle, if the capo squonk bottle fits I may put one of those in because the bottle is tougher and more rigid other than the actual push to squonk section is nice and springy. Overall I would recommend it and for the price of avg £55 though to be honest with you all, they wont be that price for long.

That's interesting - the FT price was quite low.
Decisions, decisions... although I really want a chrome one as my best atties are chrome and I haven't seen one for UK sale.
