So fare ive been having really bad taste issues with all my builds. Im comparing the flavor and vapor to a ccell2 stock coil

I constantly get a bitter taste after every hit, new coils, new wicks, doesnt matter. The vapor is fine but i have to vape my stock coil just to get the taste out of my mouth any time i try to vape my ftas (intake, and a zues). No signs of burning or dry hits..just the taste is funky.

Im using n80 coils right now, have stainless on the way. Any suggestions?

Edit: could a mesh help maybe?

Why not try some good old kanthal and see if you get on with that, it could be that N80 isn't for you. Stick with it mate, we've all had ups and downs with rebuidables before we find our preferred vape

Keep with the stock coils while you experiment with the coil building.
You will get there.
There is plenty of help and advice available.

Even if you just put a build in once a week when you have spare time. Report your experience and take it from there.

I'll take a guess it's the cotton... ccells are ceramic?

Not that I think cotton tastes bitter but is seems that would be the biggest difference, ceramic to cotton.

Some folk have a sensitivity to nickel? perhaps you do too?
So wait for the SS wire to arrive before you rule out returnables completely ;)

My journey with RBA´s was very short. And I was tempted because everybody told me to give it a try. So, why not?
Went for "the best" I could, driven by good advices, and I liked! (at least at first)
However, I started to learn more and more and trying this and that... and the rebuildable thing started to be tedious, accompanied by many wicking failures (and fails in general), too much time, money and good liquid wasted, etc.

So I decided to stick to the stock coilheads, the ones I enjoy more. It bring me the easy and good vape I look for. Learned how to clean/refurbish them, to keep the costs as low as possible. Pretty happy and comfortable since then.

Some people really enjoy all the RBA process, the wicking, testing new wires, new cotton... like a real hobby. Thats not for me. I dont like it that way. My time and patience are limited.

I understand why RBA´s are popular, but I think theres also excelent vape choices within the stock/OEM tank niche.
