I have friends who have purchased liquid off the net and they have melted there tanks. Not something I would want in my lungs.

Others in the Aspire range have plastic tanks.

You are right, I was wrong.

But I have the Aspire mini Nova (without the coloured sleeve) and that one has a plastic tank. Still a great vape though

I think these glass versions are new - to be honest, I think all Aspires are probably the same as they all use the same system and coil-head, so it will just be a preference for tank style. I am determined to get one of the glass BDC (not the vivi nova style) of each colour....

But I wish they would make matching batteries as well

Nope, sadly not even close to the colours of the Aspire range....

I like the idea of a Davide as it appears to use the same coils as my other aspire tanks, have I read that correctly?

Yes, the Davide does use the same coils-head-thingies as the other Aspire Tanks - Aspire only has 2 different systems - Vanilla and Nautilus.
