What's new

green panny`s

Just make sure you are getting the ones you think you are getting.
For the record my greeen NCR18650B are the same size as the CGR18650CH (grey) & I would guess they are the same size as the NCR18650A which you posted, but also CGR18650CG & NCR18650PD also come in the same green colour & appear to be exactly the same size.
The bigger ones would be the repackaged ones, eg Efest3400mAh protected which is slightly wider & longer, but inside it is an NCR18650B

thanks guys ..question for AndyC1971 what voltage should they read fully charged .my charger turned green so i tried them and only read 3.9 volts in the vamo ..is that right ?coz my cheapo 18350`s hold 4.2 volts fully charged

Have you got a multimeter fella??

Which ones did you go for in the end??

I have just checked a fully charged NCR18650B 3400mAh battery: -

Tesla shows 4.1v

Multi meter shows 4.2v

got the 3400 mAh ncr 18650b ....maybe cheapo charger turned green too early then .i only got 2 cheapo chargers ,the one i used for the 18650 i never used b4 as i`ve only had 18350 `s till now .

EDIT : i have now put the ncr 18650 b in the other cheapo ."multi size springy type charger" to see if it will get them up to 4.1/4.2 .as that seems to work fine with my 18350`s

I am using an nitecore i4, but if they are charging the 18350s to 4.2v, I would expect them to charge these.

I have received my 3100 mAh protected 18650s from Fasttech (Didnt order the 3400mAh) So I am charging those up as we speak, and I will post my findings.

Pop them back on charge for 30 mins, and see what reading you get then.

i have now put them in the other charger that i use for the 18350 now and see what happens .

AndyC1971 no improvment on 3.9 volts sadly ..and it gonna cut off at 3.2 volts .so thats gonna be no better than sticking with my shitty 18350`s fook my luck huh
