Evening all!

Newbie to the planet here. I’ve been vaping for 2 years now since quitting the cigs to start a family. I started off using a V2 e cig which broke, bought a replacement and that bust too

So did a bit of research and decided on an Apollo Portal which I have been getting on well with until recently when it started leaking and the battery is now playing up....

I’ve been looking online for a new vape pen and checking reviews the Smok Alien looks pretty good... does anybody use this or similar? I do vape often so would consider myself experienced, would like a good charge life on the battery and obviously a kit which doesn’t leak and need re-filling every few hours.

smok have gone downhill in the last 2 years and their QC is pants at best. saying thatt ive got 2 alien mods and only ever problem has been paint but i would touch their tank or coils any more even if they were free.

personally im liking the last 4 mods from vaporesso which have all worked flawlessly.
whichever mod you decide on you will be best also getting an external charger and 18650 batteries.
buying from the uk you will most of the time be stuck with 2ml max size tanks so always check if it comes with a seperate bubble glass. or buy from china where you can get kits with full size tanks

Smok's not a great brand to buy from these days...i've read quite a few disparaging comments in here from those that have the Alien...and other Smok products...might be a good idea to give them the spanish archer...al la 'El Bow'!

Check out where you're nearest Vape shops are, and see what they advise, perhaps?

Hello @Clobags, welcome to the POTV mate. Always good to see someone from the Midlands on here.

I’d second Vaporesso. If you are looking for a pen style sub ohm decide then then have a look at the Vaporesso cascade one plus with SE. I got my wife one and it’s superb. If you want a traditional box mod then as MrDJ says any of their recent ones - revenger, luxe etc - are bang one.

Finally, the Uwell crown 4 is getting really good reviews
