Thoroughly miffed at it this morning. Last night it was fine after re-coiling to a simple 0.6 ohm build, and wicked it up. It was fine last night, so far as to say i was really impressed with the flavour, and after an hours use, was fine. This morning however, i go to grab my keys, wallet, and mod before i leave for work, and there's half the tank gone overnight. It's gone all over my mod (and inside it) and the shelf. Whats really bugging me about it is, I purposely closed the juice flow holes, and the airflow ring last night just incase (owing to the past attempts, cotton - less is more... my arse!!) and it's still leaked everywhere. I now have a mod i can't use as the juice has got inside of it, and i'll now have to dismantle it to clean it.

Anyone else had this issue? I'm seriously thinking of sending the bastard back i'm that pissed off with it.

I've found the Griffin to be pretty much one of the only tanks I have ever had that I can leave any old how ( including sideways and upside down from time to time ) and it flatly refuses to leak even with the juice and air holes left open. I wick with the cotton tucked just into the ring section and make sure the coils are quite a distance above the holes.

Sorry I can't offer any advice on the leaking but If you stick a picture of your build up people may be able to point a flaw out if indeed there is one.

Snap. I even lay it down in the car while I'm driving. No issues. I'd suggest checking your o-rings and replacing them. Sometimes even the smallest imperfection can break the seal.

I watched a wicking video recently where he unscrews the ring, tucks cotton in then screws the ring back on. I've been using this method (no cotton showing under the ring) This method has been working really well.

Thats the thing, after it happened the second time, i replaced all the o-rings. They are all ok. I've even swapped the glass for the spare this time too.

The wick is fine, no gaps in the juice holes on the deck, and made sure they were tucked in the channels before putting the ring on. I've watched about 5 videos on YT showing the wicking method on the Griffin.

First attempt last week using a less is more approach with the cotton on top of the juice channel resulted in a leak within 1 minute of filling. 2/3rds juice gone.
Second attempt over the weekend stuffing cotton into the channel with very short tails below the ring, leaked overnight. 2/3rds juice gone.
Third attempt last night, really thought i'd nailed it, with the wick just in the channel level with the bottom of the ring. Vaped nice, no sign of leak, then bam, drenched mod and 2/3rds juice gone again.

Each time, the juice has gone, the level remaining has been below the top of the chamber, so, it can't be the chimney/chamber o-ring i've read on a few threads. Similarly, replaced all o-rings, so fuck knows whats going on :(

Its just rather annoying that closing the juiceflow and AFC ring does sod all to prevent it.

I've emailed the vendor explaining what i've tried, they've agreed to replace it, so i'm going to clean it up when i get home and send it off tomorrow.

Im getting frustrated with the Griffin too. Thought I had my wick perfect with little and just nudged into the ring but now a couple of days later it's leaking.
