Guardian Poll - is France right to ban e-cigs in public?

The poll is open for another day and it currently stands at 80% voting 'No'. If anyone here hasn't voted I'd suggest you do it now.

Voted and unfortunately had a look through the comments.
I do love how the most powerful communication tool ever to have existed is used by ill informed numpties to share opinions on subjects they know nothing about. Especially the guy that thinks that the cigarette giants are using ecigs to get around smoking bans o_O

This made me giggle

@Calum Stephenson -
As shown by the huge burden of smoking related disease and alcoholism, many people are simply not bright enough to think for themselves and need to be protected from unscrupulous marketing.
Evidence of the toxic effects of e-cigarettes is just emerging:

if you read the report ... All the evidence comes from google searches on electronic cigarette forums .. Not lab studies, they even say that in their methodology ... Well it must be true then.....

Voted and shocked how ill informed some people, the strange belief that nic is carcinogenic !!
Lets not mention the 100 or so chemicals in real cigs that are, nic is the enemy that keeps you coming back but used in moderation is relatively harmless, certainly less so than alcohol but that's taxed to death so is acceptable :30:

Wonderful piece of work! :D

I'm going to do a quick Google into the negative effects of masturbation because I'm convinced that there's a correlation between that and a likelihood of dying.

I read that too and noticed they didn't even bother to cross check any symptoms against the general symptoms of stopping smoking cigarettes. Twats indeed
