GVC and KFL+ on microcoil and cotton

I've been messing about with this combination for a while now and seem to have got to the point where I think I've cracked it but I still think I've had better results on silica. Would prefer to use microcoil/cotton if I can as I'm all for the convenience, especially whilst using 100% VG.

Is there anyone running the above setup and if so would you care to share how you are doing it? I'm not fussed about massive clouds, this is purely for flavour.

Current setup is Provari at 3.6V, M3 Microcoil (1.5ohm/0.25mm) with organic cotton wool.

Can't help really but I get better results with GVC and silica. I don't think custard works with cotton. Just my opinion :-)

I'm using a Sophia in a salt n pepper tank. I've tried GVC in loads of different set ups and silica is best, especially the Sophia for some reason. I don't know if it's the reduced chamber or ceramic cup or what but the flavour is properly creamy custard.
Biggest disappointment was the KFL+ and cotton microcoil for custard. I think it's great for fruits and tobacco though.

Custard and cotton definitely can work, it's my ADV. Kayfun isn't airy enough for me though but always used to use cotton microcoils in mine

Running 1.4 on cotton in my KFL.

8 wraps around a 2.4mm screwdriver using 0.30mm Kanthal. Comparable to the silica builds, possibly slightly sweeter but not massively.

Thanks chaps. I haven't got any 0.3 so I'll try and knock something up at 1.4 with 0.28. Take it you are both on mechs rather than VV?
