As far as I know we have one specialty vaporizer shop here - and I found it a month ago! Quit smoking cigarettes 3 weeks ago, the day I bought an evod. Very new, but intrigued by all the types of vaporizers, mods, different flavors & ingredient combos, etc. Hope to learn a lot from thus forum.

Hey Mizz! Where abouts in Alaska? I visited Delta Junction and Valdez many years ago and thought it was some of the most gorgeous world I had ever seen!

I'm in and around Anchorage. Made my way up here 10 years ago and the beauty is one of the reasons I've stayed! I've seen a lot of the state, but haven't made it around to Valdez or too far north of Fairbanks yet. Valdez is supposed to be worth the trip from what I've heard!

It is! We took a 2 lane highway down from Delta Junction through mountains and gullies. It was just breathtaking. Even after the big oil spill (mind you I went to Alaska before the Alaskan highway was finished, it was still a muddy dirt road through the mountains) the water in Valdez was this beautiful cloudy grey/blue color. Loved all the wild life that just came right up to your cars too. First time I ever saw a bear :D

I remember waking up at 3 am and wondering why everyone was still asleep! :P

You are so lucky to live somewhere so breathtakingly beautiful!

There's so many beautiful and unique things about Alaska, I really do love it! Winters get rough and dark, but that's the only way to see the stars or aurora so it's totally worth it. That and the never ending sunlight for 3 months in the summer is always fun :)

I've done all the roads from Anchorage to Fairbanks, and some still aren't paved! The Glennallen/Delta Junction/Fairbanks loop is one of my favorite summer trips we take. Although the unpaved gravel roads can get rough on the back of a motorcycle! Thankfully, most main roads are paved these days. But I bet the scenery hasn't changed much since you saw it!

I had seen a bear or two before I moved here (and a bunch more since!), but I had never seen a wild moose. They are so damn big and they just roam around anywhere and everywhere! It's an interesting place for sure :)

Out of curiosity, where were you visiting from?

Hello and welcome to the Planet MizzSynn. Iceland is the furthest North I've been, loved the midnight sun and landscapes! I'd move up north, but for the fact that I'm cold blooded and my body won't move if I get too cold!

Back to vaping! Well done on quitting the fags! There's lots of info on here and people who are happy to help with any questions you may have so ask away!
