Ok so with certain flavoured concentrates I'm getting really harsh hits I can only assume it's the certain flavoured concentrates because I have one recipe that works really well nice smooth vape but all others tried just a awful hit (very scratchy peppery) but say like I add a bit of raspberry in the mix it gets rid of that and end up with a smooth vape but not giving me the blend of flavours I really want any one else had this problem and simply solved it or is it just trial and error ?

I had this problem with one of my mixes that had cinnamon in it, I let the mix breath for 24 hours tested it again and it was only half as bad so took the lid off for another 24 hour breathing session and it seemed to fix the problem.

Thanks I'll give it ago

No doubt it's the 80 PG. Try lowering it to 40%, you will still get plenty of flavour and without the harshness

If its only happening in certain mixes its likely down to one of the concentrates that you are using, either at too high of a percentage or you just dont get a long with it. I know of a few people that get a peppery taste from vanilla bean ice cream so if that is one that you are using that could certainly be the culprit.

Definitely must be the concentrates then.. unless you're using a harsh brand of nicotine. I do find DarkStar nicotine gives quite a harsh taste. Concentrates like mint, absinthe and menthol can be very harsh if too high percentage is used

Peppery harshness is normally associated with cheap poor quality nicotine, try another nicotine and see if you can rule this out .
