this sort of shit is really pissing me off now.

i just had a notification on my phone that said i was quoted in a thread "devilment"

when i go to look at it it wont let me, when i go to mentions on my mac i get:

I've been quoted by admin too... and thought nothing of it... just assumed if I'd done something wrong I'd hear about it sooner or later and that otherwise it was a glitch on the forum... but I think I might start getting paranoid now, just for the hell of it....

Seriously, come on guys, the team have explained the reasons this happens- and that it's when you are quoted in someone elses post.... so it's not YOU that is being quoted by admin, it's the person who has quoted you!

No matter what forum you go on, I guarantee they ALL have user posts quoted by admin and discussed in the admin area- it's just that they don't notify you so you are none the wiser... personally I'd far rather know that admin are talking about me than always wonder if they might be....

Of course there is another option if you really don't like it... other (inferior) forums are available, where your paranoia won't be fed by transparency
