Review HCigar Hana Modz Mini DNA20 Mod (Clone)

I would have snapped one of these up but the proprietary Lipo batt puts me off.
What happens when the batt dies .... junk the whole mod ???

great review Dexter, i was thinking of one myself but i will wait for DNA30 as i have got the seven22, and am using that all day at the moment,
o and i want an Orange one as well

Another one for orange. I really hope vape geek gets enough orange ones in.

Personally mate, I would simply disconnect the red connector shown in the photograph of the inside and replace the battery, but hey, that's just me! :p

Good point! There's no scale picture! Here's one that shows the mod against an HCigar Kayfun 3.1 clone:

Glad I ordered mine about 10 mins after Nat put the post up and nice review dexter
Nice to see the size in comparison to the 3.1 it's tiny

would be very interested to know what the board is in this. even though on startup it says evolv any clone board maker could easily program the coding to say that. with the missing stealth and flip feature which is standard on the evolv chip unless this has been wrongly wired or set by Hcigar then i can only assume its not a genuine evolv.
my guess is the board is a genome 20 board inside which doesnt have the stealth and flip screen features.
really hope we can get an answer on this one from Hcigar as with so many of these dna20'a and dna30's hitting the market it really is hard to know exactly whats inside until you get your hands on one and even then theres no guarantee of telling them apart.

also the possibility its the VHnaboard which seems to list the same specs ( again without stealth or flip ) as the one with this including identical wattage, voltage amps etc .

whether hcigar will actually say what board they are using i dont know.

I've got to say, it never crossed my mind that there might be a genuine DNA board in this clone. Like you, my money would be on the VHna type board. I've got one waiting to be put into something at some stage, and a casual glance makes it is difficult to tell the difference, but when you have a closer look, it is more obvious that it is not genuine, mainly due to the board markings. I haven't soldered it as yet, so I can't say whether it does all the things a genuine board does.
