Headline - Majority of e-cigarettes could be taken off market following new EU deal

article said:
If the talks fail, e-cigarettes would remain unregulated

No No NO and furthermore NO.

e-cigs ARE NOT UNREGULATED - will we ever see media acknowledge this fact - they are already regulated under something like 17 existing Directives for consumer products.

I'll add that to the comments at the bottom of the page!

so if 3 member states choose to (or rather be bullied into u know they're gonna foist it on them) ban ecigs the rest of the eu has to follow suit, how is that fair that on one hand they say they are leaving it to the member states own national government, but if 3 memeber states decide to ban them we're all screwed RIDONCULOUS

Just had my own little rant in the comments section......Don't know how much good it will do, but it all helps I suppose....

hang on 1 second:
but member states such as Britain and Germany are concerned that the cartridges can contain up to 10 milligrams of nicotine – the equivalent of a carton of 200 cigarettes.
I could of sworn each cig was about 1mg, so isnt 10mg about a pack of 10 nowhere near a carton of 200

And alot of this is contradictory now to what the mep chris recently posted in his blog. wtf is going on seriously
