What's new

Hello Everyone!

I can’t wait to try it out. Just waiting on some accessories.:hmmm:

I know that feeling. Since the start of this year I've got into DIY juice mixing and also got my first rebuildable with my Blotto RTA which is awesome but they've both involved quite a bit of kitting up with the various things I needed.

I’m a big fan of the Blotto...great flavor. I’m afraid to diy my juice though. I’d find a way to mess that up.

The mixing process itself is really easy. The hardest part is working out which flavours you think are nicest and how you want to mix them to find your ideal recipes.

It's so much fun playing and experimenting with different flavours. In addition you can tinker to suit your own personal taste and I'm able to make a 120ml bottle for about £5.

The best place to find recipes and loads of helpful advice is e-liquid-recipes.com where you can join their forum and also search through over 100,000 recipes.

I’d love to get into that. Do you order your raw materials online?

Yeah, I buy everything online. If you keep your empty bottles you can reuse those by just prying off the drip tip with scissors and washing them out.

The easiest way, by far, to mix things is by weight with an accurate electronic kitchen scale. I paid £13.29 for one off Amazon that weighs down to 0.01g and does a brilliant job.

The most recommended places to buy all the ingredients are Vapable or Chefs Flavours. I even bought a little mini electric mixer that someone on here recommended.

I've only been mixing for a couple of months but there's loads of people around who know far more than me who can give you some great advice, both on here and the ELR forum.

Thanks for all the information! Once I’m done going down the rabbit hole of customizing my Billet Box, I’ll likely get in to mixing :2thumbsup:

You'll love it once you get into it and save yourself truck loads of money on your liquids into the bargain. :)

Welcome @Greg@ry I hope you enjoy your new BB,I find them fascinating for tinkering about with and getting all the bits and pieces for it but have yet to get one, maybe one day.
@MarylinC37 I also make my own juice but only follow other mixers recipes at the moment and I agree ELR is the best place to start in fact it’s my mixing bible and I’d be knackered without it. Talking about the Blotto I have just received mine today,it’s been washed and is now drying out and if I get the time later I will try and put a build in it but I’m going to have to watch some more YouTube tutorials first and see if there are any tips about it.

There's about half a dozen videos on YT about the Blotto that I've seen. As it was my first rebuildable of any kind I did lots of reading and watching videos to help me get it right.

Two particular tips that stood out were firstly from the "Vaping with Vic" video who said if you are doing a dual coil build you want to try to leave a reasonable gap between the two coils. He said the extra airflow across the coils from the bottom air holes helped make the flavour much better. And then on the "Wendy Vapes" video she emphasized that it was important to get the wicking just right to avoid choking it but to ensure you fill the channel properly.

I'm really loving it. Before this I'd only used tanks with stock coils but the flavour off the Blotto is in a different universe.
