Hi. I've been Vaping a few months after sacking-in the analogues (or stinkies as I've seen em called on here -love that).
I've got e-go style batteries and a few different atties. Prefer tanks and looking to move on to a larger battery mod.
My questions though are related to how deep I'll go after that:
Q1: can anyone briefly define/describe 'dripping' and touch on pros and cons?
Q2: same for sub ohm-imabobs?
Q3: how best to get started with mixology? Are there good starter kits? Do you save much wonga when you DIY juice-wise? Or is it more about bespoked flavours?
Forgive me a long intro that might later breakdown into individual posts.
Cheers in advance for any input B-)

To quickly explain the "been with Qs"
I typed *newb*
Smart-arse smartphone! Might draw some attention for pure confusion I suppose :-[

1/ Dripping is exactly that...dripping juice straight on to the coil...Most of the time your juice will taste much better than through a tank, but not always...The downside is you have to keep dripping everytime the wick dries out...It's ok if your sitting at home but a chore if your out and about...
2/ don't even attempt sub ohms until you understand a bit more about battery safety....
3/ there are vendors on TPOTV who sell starter kits, It can save you a lot of money over time once youve bought all the kit....Most of the fun in mixing is trial and error and seeing what you can come up with....It's a hobby in itself...

Hello and welcome.
Pros for dripping - flavour
Pros for sub ohm - throat hit and vapour
Pros for mixing - cheaper

Cheers Blackhack. That all makes sense and well said.
I'm struggling to imagine the setup for dripping while I've only used atties that have the wick built into the mouthpiece. I'll dig for some pics and see what goes on.

Another quick question before I get stuck into other threads...
Folks have mentioned safety issues with e-go style batts.
What's the deal?
I'm careful to give the plate contact a wipe before I screw it into the charger but I do wanta get hold of a mod with removable cells.
No history of e-go batts melting the carpet, right?

1-old skool :lol1: ( ducks and covers), but very good if you want to try your test mixes
2- DONT ( if you need to ask the question you can't afford the price)
3- yes you save money, you know what's in the juice and you can alter it to your taste, but the challenge is what flavours to try, combinations and volume ( this is where dripping is handy)

re: ego batteries, just make you don't use a computer's USB port to charge them since the power available there will fluctuate depending on what the PC is doing, you're probably okay using a mains-powered USB hub, but you're better off using the mains charger that should have come with the ego battery.

Cool. Thanks Wyn68. Just curious (and see the point in having a little taster) about the good ol' drippage. Significantly talked down from any sub ohm freefall. Defo on course to get a kit and start mixing.
