Hi all,

Very nice to meet you. I've been vaping only since late May, so am quite new to it. I smoked ciggies since... um... about the late 90's or so? Grew to hate the little cancer sticks and bought an aspire PockeX. Left that in a pub after a few days and bought another, left that on a train after a few days and then got another but in silver this time. The great thing is I haven't had a ciggie since late May and hated the taste when I did. A couple of times I've needed to jog a bit and was hardly out of breath! Taste buds have got a bit better and I don't feel so crappy in the morning. Happy days.

I might move on from the PockeX at some point, but for now it and menthol juice suits me fine. I was wondering where I could get a job lot of it? I'm off overseas soon for work and I reckon the tin pot African country I'll be in for a while won't have any.

I havnt no idea but have you checked to see if there is limit you can travel with? Also for a bigger batch have you thought about making your own? Its simple enough if you buy concentrates and will save you a fair few quid

I had a look. I could only find 10ml bottles of the type I use, and they're all being sold in singles. I went to a place in Grimsby yesterday that does 5 for a tenner, that's the best I've found so far.

What strength are you puffing? If you’re on the 18mg, why not buy a load of 50/50 nic shots and just add a few drops of menthol to each one? It would work out pretty cheap.

Hi. Yeah it's 18mg.

The assistant in Grimsby mentioned 50/50 being best for my PockeX and 70/30 (I think?) best for the mods, but the 70/30 for the mods only goes up to 6mg because they're larger or something.

Do the 50/50 nic shots work out a lot cheaper or come in bigger sizes? Tbh I'm not worried about the cost, partly due to the health benefits outweighing any cost and partly I hate cancer sticks now so anything else is better. I've heard ciggies in that tin pot African nation I'm off to are really cheap (probably not much more than a quid a pack) and I really don't want to be stuck for nicotine apart from cheapo cigs. So I don't mind paying retail.
