As most of you know I drip almost exclusively, I have quite a few mechs that I love and quite fancy giving a Genny a go to see what the fuss is about.

Never used one, don't know where to start. What do I need? Mesh? What's a decent Genny tank to start with?

Is there any vendor's who sell everything in one place?

Any tips would be much appreciated

Cheers Apes!

The 2 minutes a week the frakkin' thing works is lovely.
I am assuming that those who get it to work for more than 2 minutes a week offer their firstborn or give sexual favours to a variety of demons.

The perky and shiny @stealthvape will sort you on mesh.

Why no try putting a mesh wick in a dripper and see how you go from there? There was a thread on here a couple of weeks back about it.....

You put me off... When you say not working you mean wicking? Leaking? Think I'll stick to dripper haha

If you think a dry hit off cotton is a tad awful, try one off a genny!!!

Go watch a few youtube videos on gennys, Todd has a good on, and check thro' on here for more on using mesh.
Had a mesh wick in my V2 Mephisto and it was awesome, but the wee trial with gennys was like watching Scotland in the 6 nations...

Get a nextgen, bloody easiest thing to build if you take your time, I use #400 mesh straw with a top collar. If you're using high pg then try #200.

This is so true, but I keep the tank topped up and hold the mod at an angle to always have the wicks submerged.

While it is a PITA - it's taken me 6 months to get a mesh build that works - the flavour is awesome, nothing comes near it.

@Huggett had a Diablo hybrid up for sale, I don't know if he still has it.

Just wanna add, there is no big fuss, it's just a choice that's all. I use drippers with mesh everyday as my fave' go-to but i do have a couple of gennys too for when i feel like it & i wouldn't use any other tank. A simple build with a mesh straw & a straight up standard coil is all that's needed for a quality vape. Ok you can experriment to you hearts content but in the end it isn't meant to be difficult to achieve a simple mtl vape, it's old skool stuff now but it's also bona-fied & sound. Just torch the mesh, only feed it 1/2 or 2/3 of the way into the tank & pulse out the hot spots, plain sailing after that.
