Was in wimbledon today in the lakeland shop and noticed these super strengh flavourings... Can they be used in making e-juices???? All says is natural flavouring and poly glycol (can't spell it, but you know what i mean)..... Advice please guys.

We're sorry - there's been a problem

well i saw your post today, and after a bit of a disaster with some pre-made blended concentrates (nothing wrong with them, i just don't like the flavours) i decided to have a bash with the lakeland flavours as there is one just down the road from me. their concentrates are currently on buy-one-get-one-half-price, so picked up four 15ml concentrates for just under £12 which is roughly on-par with other ecig concentrate prices. they are all PG based + natural flavours so figured they would be ok. i grabbed rhubarb, custard, banana and buttery caramel.

only had one spare bottle for mixing so after reading that you can add them to beverages i did some test mixes in about 10ml of milk in a glass. the concentrates are pretty strong and a few drops was easily enough.

i decided on mixing 5ml of banana caramel juice, and was going for 50/50 on the flavouring, but the dropper bottles are a little hard to control so ended up with 7 drops of banana and 10 caramel (which equates to just under 20% flavouring total). decided to vape it straight away out of curiosity and its bloody lovely! i think i could vape it all day! hopefully steeping won't ruin it so i can make a decent sized batch.

I'm very interested in people's experiences with these, as even though I'm mixing my own, I still struggle to get much taste out of a lot of flavours, even at 25/30%.

The flavours from Lakeland are definitely strong, I think my trial above could easily do without a drop or two of each flavour and still be nice and flavoursome to vape.

However since posting the above I noticed another thread regarding possible ingredients in the Lakeland (or any non ecig) concentrates (specifically diacetyl). The packaging just says pg + natural flavours for all the concentrates, so make of that what you will.
