I just joined a couple days ago and I cant seem to find how to add a photo to my profile.

Are you on a laptop/PC or mobile phone?.
If you have a large screen then click top right (where your user name appears).
Click on avatar (your photo).
Pick a photo from your files.

You need to have a min amount of posts, think it might be 20 for avatar could be more though

As mentioned there is a minimum post count before you can change your avatar, pretty sure it's 20 posts or possibly a time limit also.
