So i received my new Vamo V5, all good, it came with 2x Kanger T3s, enjoyed using these, but also orderd an aerotank and a vivi nova, these both have the 510 thread? which attach to the inner thread of the machine, here lies the query, neither tank seems to fit well, both feel a little flimsy even with the plinth fitted, is this normal or do i have a faulty thread on the vamo? i know that i definitely haven't overtightened, but hey just don't look square to the vamo, both work really well having said this, im just wondering if im being fussy or should i return to vendor? problem is i don't want to be without it now! any experience, views or thoughts, very welcome

Unfortunately the vamo doesn't have an adjustable Centre pin so lots of 510 devices won't sit flush on it

The 510 connection is touted as universal but with so many different manufacturers, good, bad & indifferent it can be a bit hit & miss. I doubt returning your Vamo to the vendor will make much difference since it could be the attys that are a fraction out, but you could try speaking to them, you might be able to get a new top cap to see if that improves things.

You could put the tank on then unscrew the beauty ring till the tanks more stable. Its not idea but it will work :-)

Welcome to the world of the Vamo! Great, reliable, devices, but they are top heavy and nothing you do can change that. You can use heath robinson washers or search for factory made beautification bits and pieces to make your cartos/tanks look a tad neater. For me it was far easier to accept the vamo's foibles. The worst thing that you can do with a vamo is to over tighten the tank to try to get it flush and/or put sideways pressure on the tank to try to straighten it up, all in the name of asthetics.

I think theres a vendor on here called 'Stealthvape' that sell an 'OCD' polished steel washer that you can use to fit in between to fill the gap and make its sturdier. I just screw the top cap up on mine a few spins to fill the gaps (I thought thats what it was for until told otherwise, ...or maybe it is after all?)
