Help with coils

Not exactly a newbie to vaping but new here. I’ve just bought an Aromarizer Supreme V2 but having massive problems getting it to work with any coils. Whatever I use seems there is just no connection. Tried all the usual checks of the 510 and tightening screws but no joy. Tried different coils staples, claptons p both Coilology and some hellvape claptons. Did get a pair of chain links working for a minute but can’t get them working now. It’s the postless deck wondering if it’s faulty now? Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hello @John Griffiths and welcome to POTV.

I don't have the Supreme V2 and have limited RTA experience so hopefully someone will come along soon to help.

The only thing I can think of is could it be your mod that doesn't like the V2? Have you tried it on another device?

If you've tried unscrewing the 510 pin on the tank a little and all the usual tightening then it sounds like a fault to me. Have you checked for any stray wire in the posts as well? Also assume you've tried it on a different mod.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve had it on 2 mods and the ohm reader and no joy. Got the magnifying glass to search for stray threads and couldn’t find anything so it looks like a dud. Thanks again

The most likely reason this might happen is the 510 pin being too short.

First off welcome to PotV. Have you tried the atomizer on any other mod? Will any other atomizers work your mod? What type of mod are you using?

Hi thanks again for all the replies I found the problem after trying everything and under close examination I noticed the insulated side wasn’t sitting flush or straight. I pinched it down with some needle nose pliers and voila! I’ve been vaping on it for a day now no problems and loving it so much I ordered a second which hopefully will be ok. If anyone is interested a certain vendor ending in “one” (not sure if allowed to post links to specific companies here), has these for 17.99 at the moment and in my opinion an excellent buy despite this minor issue as I know if I was to contact them they would have sorted it.
