OK I'm fairly newish to mixing. I know what I'm doing but not the best with flavours. I understand that taste is subjective but need some opinions from you guys.

I need to find some good flavours not to use as a mixing hobby but as a practical step towards lowering Vaping costs.

I currently use red astaire and ry4Nutzilla (F'Art)

I love the simplicity of only needing to mix one concentrate however am happy to buy/mix multiple flavours for the right juice.

What premixed concentrates are the best?? What simple mix of flavours makes a good juice.

I have about £40 in my paypal and apart from needing some more Nic would appreciate some advice.

Are there certain concentrates that you can't live without or that everyone should have.

I currently have things like capella van custard, DDL, and some fruits.

Would also appreciate if I can get everything from 1 place to save on postage costs.

Ready, Set, Go!!

Mom & Pop have a good following, only tried Calipetter Chow so far, great on it's own but awesome with custard and even better fruit and custard. I've got Butterfly Bait to try but not mixed any up yet. Chefs Vapour have it so you can pick it up with your other supplies.

Maybe looking at a few recipes of juices you like and buying concentrates to suit would be the way to go you can find some good ones on here

Plus you could always vary them slightly for your own taste. I don't buy concentrates on the basis that they might come in handy as it seems an expensive way to do it. Maybe have some sweetener, Ethol mattol, Koolada and menthol in stock as you can tweak a lot with those. Graham cracker is quite versatile with deserts as is pie crust. I tend to buy concentrates from Chefs Vapour as good range and postage options.

Nic base I get from

72mg 7.2% NICOTINE 100ML PG OR VG

Good quality and free postage.

And VG from Classikool on eBay as good quality, price and free postage.

Good Luck

if you enjoy a gamble or just dont know what to try, leisure liquids do "random boxes" of concentrates. you can pick what type of flavours you want (ie fruits or desserts etc) and they'll send you a selection of them to try, which works out pretty good value 10 concentrates for £15 (search for "box"). i got at least two concentrates that were worth £3.50 each in mine, and all the flavours were decent, i just havent got round to making up mixes with all of them as i found a diy mix that i cant get away from at the moment.

90 bottles!!!! At least you won't run out anytime soon

I'll be ordering some more on Friday, when I was shopping for Kandi-Hed concentrates for my 'Astaire' rip-off I could only afford about 9 or 10, saw loads more I want to try, and of course they sell several other brand I need to 'try' this could get a bit silly, gonna gave to set in stone a budget I can't go over methinks.

There isn't really that much to be added to the previous posts as purchasing concentrates is to do with YOUR particular tastes.EG:there's little point us saying you MUST have LEMON if your allegic to lemons,or they make you vomit etc.

I have found that drinking juice labels are a good source of eliquid flavours, have a look at the ingredients of Vimto/Summer-fruits etc & copy them,by adding 1ml PG/VG in a bowl & then adding a few drops of various flavours, try a vape (RDA)& accept/adjust as you see fit.Once you have a mix that tastes nice, add nicotine & test it again,if still 100% flavour, then convert to percents & mix a 10ml bottle.

It can be fun,and with some menthol crystals to fix any revolting results, cheaper than pre-mixed concentrates.

The only advice that I can offer is to, initially, not be very adventurous and avoid random impulse flavours. That can save a shed load of money for a start. Starting off is all about getting a few decent juices under your belt, in the easiest way. Plenty of time for adventure later on.
There are concentrates that are based on "single flavours" and there are concentrates that are "blended"
For no other reasons, other than that they are easy to find online, offer a huge range, and mostly well punched with flavour, and consistent, then Capella are a good choice for single flavours. I'm not saying that Capella are any better than others, but for anyone newish to DIYing, they give a fairly level playing field with regard to different % dilutions. Some of the others have a larger range of acceptable dilutions, which doesn't help towards "easy mixing".
Both Mom & Pops and T-Juice are super manufacturers of "blended" concentrates, and, as with Capella, their dilution percentages are all straight forward and mostly documented.

ps, seems pretty obvious, but "stick to what you like" , it makes choosing easier, and increases the chances of getting something enjoyable.
