help with mixing maths

Right...cant get my head around this..
i've got 11ml of custard here that needs to be diluted.

i'd like to bring the cvc strength from 14% down to 12%.
How many ml do i need to add ?

Note:there's about 20% flavouring in it altogether....but i'm using the cvc as the marker ...if you know what i mean.

Haven't got a direct answer mate. Perhaps if you use a juice calculator and input the original mix then the desired mix. The difference between the percentages should give you the info you need. Just an idea from a newbie.

I've kinda presumed you mean 1.4% (14mg) down to 1.2% (12mg) so I get working on a 50/50 PG/VG mix and including your custard at 20% you'd need to add
PG - 0.46mls
VG - 0.77mls
Custard - 0.3mls

Totals about 1.5mls which sounds about right in my head but I could've worked this out incorrectly so (disclaimer) I take no responsibility for blah and etc.

actually no....i've used too much flavouring basically and want to knock it down a touch...but your theory may well be transferable

It is, make up 1.5mls at desired nic strength and stick that in there.

Funny that...cos i've reduced and increased nic plenty of times but this had me baffled for some reason
