Hi guys,

Maths was never my strong point. I got the best grades for English in school, and the second worst for maths lol. Go figure.
Anyway, I need to calculate how much nicotine to add to a shortfill. I've used a nic shot calculator and an AI bot but they give me different answers. Here's the thing, I have 72mg nicotine, not 20mg so a normal calculator won't work.

Here is the equation an AI bot gave me for working it out:

To make 100ml of liquid A 12mg nicotine strength, you need to add 6.67ml of liquid B to it. Here’s how you can calculate it:

Liquid A contains 0mg of nicotine in 100ml.
Liquid B contains 72mg of nicotine per 1ml.
You want to make liquid A 12mg nicotine strength.
Let’s assume you add x ml of liquid B to liquid A.

Therefore, the equation becomes:

(0 * 100) + (72 * x) = (12 * (100 + x))

Solving for x, we get:

x = 6.67 ml

So, you need to add 6.67ml of liquid B to liquid A to make it 12mg nicotine strength.

A nicotine shot calculator said I need to add 20ml of 72mg nicotine to it. What's more, a different calculator gave me a different amount.

Obviously I need to be very careful here as I'm not just working with weak nicotine.
I have a 100ml bottle of eliquid and 100ml bottle of 72mg nicotine.

Please assist?

100ml of 12mg finished e-liquid, would have 16.66ml of 72mg nicotine in it.
