Sooooooooooo....

At some point or another, I bought a DCT which came with a "dotted" cartomizer. Primed it, whacked it in, happy days.

At some other point in time, I received a DCT as part of a kit, which came with a "slotted" cartomizer. Primed it, whacked it in, absolute pants... could barely get a draw on it and gurgling like a broken khazi!

So my question is, is this an inherent problem with the slotted carto's... did i get a dud, or am I just a tw*t who can't perform the simplest of tasks? (I figure any of the above are plausible)

Much obliged

Best bet is to get blanks and punch your own, that way you can determin the hole size to a degree and how many holes to punch. Some juices are thinner than others and the chances are the slot was too large causing the carto to flood and gurgle.

Okey cokey, cheers folks.

As it stands, I do indeed buy standards and punch my own, and they work a treat :D I just hate fookin waste! Which is what makes me want to persevere with something that would probably cost me a quid to replace! :D

Is there any recovering once it's flooded (baring in mind I'm a retard) cos as it stands I have a spare, identical one and I'm just debating whether to cut out the middle man and throw the bugger in the bin :D

add a bit of electrical tape to cover a bit of the hole? I've had to do that a few times to bigger punches

Oh! another thing, take it out of the tank, give it a good blow and vape it tankless for a little while to use up some of the juice inside ;)

If its tasting burned its for the bin. If not then blow hard down the carto to clear the excess juice out. Clean the 510 end with tissue. Make sure you put a thicker juice in next time in the slotted one.

I am fairly anal about avoiding burn out, so flooding is definitely looking to be the issue.... will see what can be done. Cheers :D
