Hi all advice needed on coils and ohms for use with OBS Crius 2 single coil ,

hi all,

Today My new tank arrived
It’s a lovely OBS Crius 2 single coil,

My other daily tank is and ammit mtl rta by Geekvape in my ammit mtl I use 1.2ohm Vandy Vape super fine fused ni80 Clapton’s,

I’m use too more of a cooler vape, and I’m fed up with the lack of flavours for my mtl ,
the higher vg juices don’t run very well in my mtl tank ,
I also find too much pg does not agree with me , and I also find the Vapor is no longer satisfying on my ammit mtl hence the new tank ,

Anyway my OBS Crius 2 single coil why the taste is great the vape my 70 vg custard tastes delicious I’m finding it is a bit hotter than I am use too ,

I’m currently using 0.4 Ni80 coils

Looking for coil recommendations
Which would give me a slightly
Cooler vape

But still good flavour, thick vapour,

Ps I’m not sure what size coil is currently is my tank except it’s bigger in size than my coils in my mtl rta ,

Maybe you need to be inhaling more air/drawing harder to keep the coil cool.
Are you inhaling directly into your lungs like breathing? Or are you drawing into your mouth first like a cigarette?

I’m still transitioning from my mtl tank not quite got the knack of drawing completely into the lungs kinda feels strange,

If it’s too hot just turn the watts down indeed. Covered all this earlier for you. You may need to give it some time and ‘aclimitise’ though.

You should be getting (reasonably)thick and flavourful vape out of your current setup, provide more details about how you're building the tank if you're not getting that experience from it(coil ID, cotton type, mod settings, etc).

For cotton I have a tin of fuzz , by the Yorkshire vapour,

And a giant bag of muji pads ,

For coils In my mtl tank I use fused superfine Clapton’s 1.2ohm ,

It can give out plebty if vape with the air flow open ,

Yet I find the feeling for a real cigarette
Still niggles at me ,,,,,


I find the flavour choices are very limited,,
I use a 50/50 ratio juice in my little mtl tank as I find higher pg too harsh ,


I’ve tried dozens of different flavours ,

And I guess one could say I’ve become bored ,,,,,,,,


My curiouosty of those interesting colorful short fill bottles have finally got the better of me,

Although I do love my little mtl tank for driving with or out and about ,

I also want to try every flavour I see on the shelf’s , but sadly not all flavours are suitable vg/pg for my little ammit mtl ,
