hi everyone, as I’ve stated I’m new to this site, I’ve been vaping for about 4 months now and haven’t smoked a cigarette since. I started with a smok vape pen but a couple of months ago I bought a smok hpriv 2 and I love it, I bought a v12 tank and got a rba for it, I’ve made a couple of coils with it, my first was terrible and died within a few hours, I’ve only just made my second but I’m not sure what to set it too, it’s a stainless steel coil I’ve just left it on watt mode but would like to know how the other modes work to try to get the best out of it. Any advice and help would b much appreciated

Hi @The_General_Lee and welcome.
You are most likely getting the best out of it in wattage mode.
Temp control is probably best suited to single strand wires and mods that can do it properly.
All thats needed really is it keeps you off the smokes.

Thank you so much for the advice, I’ll never go back to cigs I can’t even stand the smell now lol. I know some people ain’t too keen on smok products but I really get on well with them and I’m even thinking of buying a mag kit aswell now as a back up, cos my other one gets a bit scratched up when I’m taking it to work

Welcome General, and congrats on kicking the stinkies.

For now at least I'd carry on with just the Wattage mode as it only takes a moment to adjust up and down until you find the power that suits you on whatever coil you happen to be using at the time.

Hi. My advice would be.... keep it simple 'til you have a bit more experience in coiling simple builds before progressing onto more complex stuff.
Oh, and get a back up kit in case of disaster!
