What's new

Hi everyone. Could you advise me please?

Hiya mate, welcome to the forum.

Honestly, if it's not agreeing with you then the best thing to do would be to stop.

If you're going to persist though then it's a case of trying different things to find out if something specific is causing it. Could be the nic salt you are using, there are a couple of different types aswell as freebase nicotine. Could be the coil material, stainless steel, Ni80 kanthal etc. Or it could be PG/VG or certain flavourings in the liquids.

Its just stock coils, so i think they are kanthal.
This is my first time trying nic salts so it could be that perhaps.

Maybe i should try other liauids in the luxe xr i just got as i thought maybe going 70/30 vg/pg might help with 3mg freebase.

Im guessing its not the norm to feel like this when starting?

Try standing on one leg in the garden and vape. As soon as it starts to get too much, stand on the other leg for 5 minutes. Every morning, go for a 5 minute jog before repeating the process.

PLEASE DON'T JUDGE

Ive just come back to vaping (2years no vape or smoke).
But due to personal circumstances ive found myself back with the vape.

I stipped 2 years ago as i felt my chest very heavy from it but as time has gone by perhaps this was down to me going straight to a big cloud chucker type?

Anyway picked up a xros3 with some 5mg nic salts.

Set it up and took about 10 nice draws and was lovely, however for the rest of the day again not crazy but bit of a tight chest.

Has anyone experienced this?
Maybe coz ive tried nic salts for the first time?
Is there like an adjustment period?

Thank you

I've never seen 5mg nicsalt only 10mg or 20mg

Hi and welcome. Not had this issue myself but I guess it's a case of trial and error. Some people can be intolerant to PG or VG in the liquid. Maybe try a 70 VG liquid.

Hi Lovely

Welcome :)

As a few people have said it could be one of many things. Trying your luxe with freebase is a good way to check if its salts thats doing it. Plus there are different types of salts and vg/pg liquid within it. U could try the freebase for the luxe in ghe xros with the 0.6 pod, it should handle it ok.

Im a nic salt user with the Xros, have been using mainly 10mg salts and pod kits for around 4 years but I stick to the same juices. Juice head is what i buy now in bulk of 10 £2.40 each or I used to like Manabush or Prime vapes MTL range was good too. But it could just be that u and salts don't get on or vaping in general or rhe coil material.
Its going to be very much trial & error lovely.

What brand of salts did u use?

Maybe try some 3 or 6 mg freebase you'll not get much throat hit though .although I'd imagine 5mg salt has no descenable throat hit at all

Yes mate its fairly smooth with a slight hit.
I think il tey 70vg in the luxe xr with 3mg freebase see if it's any different
