If he's getting into the vape scene whats he looking to do? A shop, web store, through facebook/forums? He looking at starter kits, mods, e-liquids? (Yeah I'm nosey) Plenty on here have experience with one or more of these and the more we know the more we can try to help, finding a niche is key to a profitable business.

E.g. In regards to liquids there's a lot out there so something different (custo made, good price or flavour etc) or imported from the US ones are usually popular
Mods are a tricky business cause your competing with online prices (and clones) and theres a large selection so what to get in, how many etc.
Accessories / custom stuff now theres not a lot out there you can just walk in and buy easily (different drip tips (long churchwarden style) pipe mods (yeah i want a gandalf vape pipe so im gonna keep mentioning it ))
I think a 'My First RBA/RDA kit' would be good, have a set with wire, clippers, pliers, cotton/silica, something to wrap around (multiple sizes) etc. that is everything someone would need to start making their own coils, very few places do an actual kit for that you kind of just have to watch vids or wing it with what you have in the house (i got an old nail set with clippers and tweezers and used toothpicks for my first few then i bought some better stuff)
Replacement parts, oh god how nice it would be to pop into a shop and get a new firing pin for a nemesis or that little bloody pin to stop the button from slipping.

Your are on a site with people who are wanting this kind of thing, its basically first hand market research so ask us and then weigh up the options

He has (well I did actually) ordered and received from china some ce4 starter kits & clearomizers
also some juice from a uk supplier.

I am today ordering for him some spare 1100ma batteries.

He wants to firstly do car boots / markets and go from there.

I can see me getting lumbered with writing a web page for him and ending up doing the donkey work.

He also has a view that he might be able to sell on some stuff to other small sellers such as base liquid and flavourings.

I have looked around and seen what appears to be (according to the forums) high quality base liquid and if I can buy in 10 litre or above quantities
then I should be able to source 50ml & 100ml childproof bottles and he can resell those.

I am also toying with the idea of getting further involved using flavours from pastry island for example and am close (but not certain) to be ordering a litre of nicotine from china (£100 shipping, ouch)

He came to me with this 3 weeks ago and I had heard nothing, however since then I picked up speed.

I have had "a play" with a label & a box & enclose the pics, they are not finished yet, what do you think? lol

ps print quality is better than the picture shows, but still a work in progress.

When I know more about which direction it is taking him I will post up

Bulk buying: check alibaba.com (if you havent already) but that is for big orders

Car boots / Markets: remember that this is still currently in a grey area in regards to law and public opinion so be careful, make sure you know your rights and what licences / permits you may need

Web-page: just use a facebook group / forums to begin with, get registered as a vendor, start with just advertising what you have and where your going to be and go from there

Liquid Nic: be careful when buying as 50mg to 72mg is very strong and will go quite a long way when diluted, if it says 'pure' or close to pure you need a hazmat suit to handle it, handle the stuff safely regardless, gloves, apron, goggles, respirator just in case. You can get medical quality liquid nic from a few vendors in the UK, so no need to get it from china, it is expensive but cheaper than £100 shipping (check the marketplace when it comes back up and the vendors on the discounts page)

Making your own: use the mixing calculator, to be safe. Liquid Nicotine is still a poison and you dont want to end up in trouble, make sure you dilute it (again to protect yourself)

Make sure the bottles you get have the raised triangle on the side and put 18+ on the box, this is to protect you

Do a couple of designs and put a poll on here, people can then see what they like and offer more advice.

I find dhgate better as they give prices, albaba says contact vendor & when I have done so I never seem to get a reply.

Appreciate the nicotine advice, i will be careful to the extreme, as I want to "cut" it to 72mg
I would be making a nicotine testing kit up & doing several cross checks to ensure I actually cut it to the strength I am aiming at.

Regarding selling, he is doing the selling and I am carefully taking in what you mention to advise him.

The other side of things such as selling 100ml bottles of unflavoured base would be me.

Possibly supplying smaller quantities of concentrate also.

Even making up 0mg, 12mg & 18mg juices, but that bit would mean a lot of "playing" and giving free samples out before I could even
think about providing him with a product.

I have been in business for 40 years and have single handedly founded pool leagues which are still running 20 years on, also the first
computer club in the midlands and various other stuff, so organising comes as second nature.

With regards to the raised triangle, these would be for the 100ml nic & base liquid yes?
Not the 10ml bottles of 18mg juice for example

The name doesn't matter but after doing business and graphical design for a few years (as well as law, psychology, banking, finance and recently computer programming (i really need to pick something and stick to it )) my critical side saw the concept and though it could look more eye catching. have you seen some of the packets out there, either you get a cut and paste white background with a picture of some fruit or you get something people see and want to take a closer look at cause it draws attention (personally i go for low brow pun style as i find the more groans of understanding the joke but hating yourself for getting the reference the more likely you are to remember it )

The raised triangle is a tactile warning for people with some sight issues, think it HAS to be on anything quite high (7.5% plus) but i would look up the law on the situation as I have been out of the loop for a while

Dont know how much help this will be, hopefully one of the other more experienced users (or even a vendor) can provide more info on this for you

A. Completely agree, at the moment it would be for my brother and they want it named after a child "misty's" (apparently my "loopy Juice" joke did not go down well) lol So no problem me putting misty's on the first 200 he has requested.
