Haha.. It's very catching, you may not even realise until you go to another town/city and get called a farmer

I have lived in Somerset for just under 17 years now. Probably moving to Devon next year though.

Devon is lovely, lucky you, are you moving for a change of scenery? I really fancy living by the sea in a few years, I am looking at a few different places, Devon, Cornwall......Brazil lol (I'm not really looking at Brazil btw just day dreaming!)

Hi Han, and welcome to the forum! I'm 150 miles SW of you in rural Cornwall, and back to my roots after living away for a few years. Moved back in 1998 after nearly 15 years away, and started conversations with people who I knew as if I had seen then the day before!
Love the pace of life, the sense of community and the stunning places to walk and kayak (I'm a keen partaker of both!)

Thanks for the welcome Andy, It seems like a really friendly helpful site, I love Cornwall, I used to holiday there alot as a kid, Somerset is beautiful but there is something that really appeals to me about the seaside, so my longterm plan is to move, I goto Weston Super Mare to dog walk every now and again, but it's a bit of a trek! and I am a keen walker too, but I haven't tried kayaking, that sounds pretty fun

TBH I'm mainly moving to Devon as I'm constantly travelling there for parties and it will save me a fortune, also know a lot of people there. Living by the sea is nice though and quite tempting.. Torquay is nice
