Hi everyone, just joined and need some advice from experienced vapers.
I smoked for 35 years then after a mega blood pressure scare I lost 3 stone in weight,
and then stopped smoking with the aid of Greensmoke, but since then I have no work
and things are tough, and I find it too expensive to buy cartomizers from green smoke,
although I loved the flavours. In all honesty it would be cheaper to smoke, but that is not
an option.
The other problem over the last 3 months is that i am constantly recharging the batteries,
so I was looking at Riva 510 starter kits (650mah),should I go for a clearomizer or carts????
or a kit that has both????? I have read the battery life is great.
Thanks
Regards Izzy
ps 3 months and two weeks non smoker!!:yahoo:

Welcome izzy! I find Ego type batteries like the riva are best at 650 mah or higher and maybe try clearos and carts and find which one you like best

Buying e-liquid and filling your clearomizer is way cheaper, usually cartomizer sold on shops contains 1ml e-liquid for each cartomizer which calculates to £7 for 3 ml, however e-liquid sold online are usually are between 2-4 pounds for 10ml. if you are worried about charging too much perhaps get a bigger batter like 900mah ones. I find that passthrough batteries are kind of handy, you can vape while it's charging :)

As for the clearomizer or cartomizer, I would say go with clearomizer specially Kanger T3, they are very good. and if the atomizer head dies it's cheap to replace it (£2.50) and lasts about 4 weeks(for me anyway).

It does get cheaper once you've found the set up that suits you and even cheaper if you make your own liquid :)

What he said is good. Also if you can afford it go for a 900 mah or 1100 mah ego type battery - not only will you be able to go longer between charges, the life of the batteries themselves should be longer. If you go down the route of refilling your own cartomizers or buy some Kanger tanks - let us know what flavours and strengths you like and the juice fairy might send some your way.

izzy11 to POTV you will find a great bunch of users & vendors here & no question is to big, nor to small for that matter. So once again welcome & enjoy your stay

HI izzy i would personally recommend a 650mah 900mah 1100mah and allso 1300mah ego style versions with a rebuild able clearomizer wich can clean and re use some tanks hold upto 1.6ml depending on how much you use it through out the day i am constantly using mine and top it up at around 3 o clock and for the batteries i would say a good 900mah to 1100mah battery should last you a full day depending on how much you use it hope that helps
