What's new

Hi there

I get things mixed up and always seem to write an essay. I am autistic, so excuse the muddle lol

try taking 1.5-2 seconds inhale

just checked and im using 0.2 rated 60-75w and im running mine at 45w. plenty of flavour and still plenty of cloud.
pushing it at 70w certainly wont make it last.

Maybe that works for you, I dunno for me I mostly follow the rules and tweak things a little, I just get scared I am going to damage it.

I am gonna keep priming my coils and will follow the rest of the advice on here anyway and see how that goes. I would be happy to get 5-7 days out of it. Ideally 7

I don't know if the same rules would apply for the L200, in regards to vaping it lower to start. I was advised not too, i am getting different advice from everywhere, some of it has just been trial and error.
well you was given bad advice then. the same rule applies to every tank.
the mod is just a battery. the tank decided what wattage you should run it at. this is decided by the coil you are using. ive got coils that can run at a max 15 watts and also coils that go upto 190watt. i can still use a mouth to lung tank on my L200 and run it at 14w and no matter which tank i use i start at least half the wattage of what im intending to vape at and my coils last long enogh so after 8 years i must be doing something right.
oh and i get on average 10-15 days out of the gti coils.

I take 3 second hits btw I assume that is the average
Just as taking a good photo is a balance between f stop, shutter speed, exposure time and film speed, getting a good vape is a balance between wattage (heat), ohmage (coil rating), air flow and juice viscosity (50/50, 30/70 etc).
A three second hit with the correct balance can be just right for your device and juice, but the same hit with too little air can lead to denatured (burned for want of a better word) juice which will taste shite, your problem sounds like too much heat with too little air to me. I`d suggest setting your wattage to about 2/3 of the stated rating and open your air flow as wide as it will go as a starting point and go from there.

Ok so here is what I’ve done this morning. I heated the juice a little, it’s real liquidy now. Don’t know if that is good or bad. I turned the wattage down to 60 on the 60 to 80 coil (geekvape coil) and I’m getting some flavour, it’s hard to tell. I’ll try and troubleshoot a bit tomorrow when I get to the shop. See if everything is in place like the rings, see if I flooded the coil etc and hopefully get the bubble glass. Then I’ll see how it goes

I’ve had to have the airflow open to get any flavour the last few months on either of my tanks. I think I’m on the right track now though.

Room temperature should be fine for your juice.
If this is the same shop that gave you the previous advice, I'd be wary, the people in the shop want to make sales and may not even be vapers, the people on this forum just want to keep you vaping and off cigs, and there is a vast amount of vaping knowledge and experience.

not sure about the room temp as hes mentioned hes warmed it up and its runny now which is how it should be. also previously mentioned not using much heating in house so could well be causing it to thicken.

totally agree about the shop though. if it was them that gave bad advice then be weary of what they suggest next.

geekvape 0.2 z coils in zeus tank i cant go above 50w even though they are rated 70-80w otherwise they dont last me long and the taste of my custard goes a bit funky. this tank only has one make of custard in it so i know when its time to change the coil. if lucky i get around 7 days out of a coil. i now scratch at the cotton around these coils to losen the compacted cotton and it seems to give maybe two more days life. dont push too hard though if you try this as you dont want to bend the wire inside.

I don’t usually change I go through 100ml shortfills before I try something else or the same. I’m not expecting the coils to last more than a week. The juice was already funky so I understand it must have spoilt the coil.

following advice on here to put it on the radiator for 30 mins helped. As soon as I went outside in the cold it started to thicken again. I mostly keep the juice in my pocket not near heat
