I've been a long-time lurker here, learning a lot from you guys.
After dabbling with a few newbie devices, I've settled, for now, on simple low cost gear. I have a couple of Innokin Smartbox mods, an Eleaf Pico 75W and a Pico Squeeze. Nothing fancy, but they are small, cheap, fit in my pockets, can be mostly concealed in my hands and suit my low power MTL/restricted DTL style.
I have have moved away from stock coil systems and my main tanks these days are SXK Doggystyle and Berseker Mini RTAs. I also have some RDAs: a Le Concorde, Speed Revolution and Strike 18. I quite like squonking but haven't found a way to do it out of the house without getting juice spilled in my pockets from the RDA!
I also have an Eleaf iCare 2 loaded with JAC Vapour flavourless and vapourless 18mg eliquid that I keep in the ticket pocket of my jeans for the odd sneaky toke at work and elsewhere. Highly recommended.
I'm still looking for my ideal flavours. As you may have gathered from the above I'm a bit thrifty and don't want to pay over the odds for premium brands. I've tried various expensive liquids but I quite like the low cost and surprisingly good quality of several flavours from onepoundeliquid. I'd like to get into DIY but am a bit cautious about the time and cost involved with the whole trial and error aspect of this, especially given the time factor of steeping each experiment. So I've recently been trying out one shots from Flavour Boss and Drip Hacks. These seem pretty good value, without needing to invest in a whole cupboard of individual concentrates. I've also been impressed with the NET concentrates I've tried from Bestcigliquid.
I've been tab-free for over eight months with a minor slip due to the ambiguous legal status of vaping while travelling in Turkey. It was more socially and legally acceptable to light up a Marlboro, there. It tasted disgusting, mind.
I'm loving the way this vaping adventure has kept me off the tabs. It's been easy. I can't say I've saved a bunch of money but I'm just about up by a couple of hundred quid. And healthier.
