High or low Ohm???

Thank you Scot, just don't want crap equipment to send me back to the evil weed. I get a bit para

Pleasure Phil. Just before I hit the sack a couple of other points just to keep you on the straight and narrer as they say,

1. Wrongly or rightly I'm assuming you got a USB passthrough charger with your eGo. If so, a couple of points on that. a) never charge the eGo via a USB port and b) never use the eGo while you are charging it. Get yourself a USB Mains Adapter for a fiver or whatever and if you can afford to and you haven't got one yet, get yourself another eGo so you can have one on charge and one on the go, so you avoid point b).

2. When you tighten anything down onto the Vamo, just tighten gently until you feel the slightest resistance then just tighten it a gnat's nadger more and that will do you. Goodnight.

Why???????Are the threads crap? I'm gonna have to spend some cash on somw decent kit, mmm b'day coming up!!!!Cheers,

the threads on vamos wear out eventually whats more common though is the 'centre post' breaking.

On any device using a 510 connection the screw threads are the negative connection and the positive connection goes through the centre part. Not all atomisers are created equal, some of the centre posts on some atomisers stick out a bit further than other ones, you can see variation sometimes in the same make and model of atty as well. If you screw them onto a device too hard you can press the centre post down so far that a 'normal' one won't make the connection and won't work.

When that happens you need to use something to gently prise the centre part on th device back up a little (a technique known as post pulling) so it works again.

If you do this too often you can break the centre post completely.

It's just a good habit to tighten on atomisers onto any device just enough. Doesn't matter what equipment you are using if you over tighten things they won't last as long.

Speaking of which, after six months of use and abuse the threads have gone on my vamo. Do you know of anyone who stocks replacements?
