What's new

Hiya!

Hi @Starry and welcome to the planet.

sure is a minefield out there now compared to when you used to vape. so many kits and variants to get your head around.
if you see something you like the look off then ask here first as a helpful bunch and they will soon tell you if its any good or not.

what kit did you used to use all them years ago.
been almost 8 years for me and it was mostly cig a likes available then but were mostly in the UK so may have been a bit slow to catch on.
my first real kit was the istick30 and a mini nautilus which was a game changer.

I used to use CE5 clearomizer tanks with an ego battery. Nothing fancy, as I was already tapering my usage down by the time the clearomizers came out.

I'm probably going to start pretty small now too, as I will mostly be using it at work and on nights out which are pretty rare as a mom of three.

I've got two disposables while I decide, and even they're a little bit mind blowing compared to the vapes I started on. Vapes at that price years ago would have been so harsh, even to a former heavy smoker.

we hate disposables on here as they are so bad for the environment and giving vaping a bad reputation and also very bad on your wallet.
im not sure how much they are in the states where for some reason theve approved 50mg strength while we in the UK have a max of 20mg.
£5 or $5 for 2ml of juice which last a day or two when you could get a small kit that is refillable and similar juice in 10ml bottles that would cost the same as one throw away.
no idea if these are available in the states but have a look through these alternatives https://manabush.com/collections/disposable-vape-alternatives

just won the uwell caliburn G2 which is as easy as it gets and refillable and replaceable coils. https://www.vapeclub.co.uk/vape-pods/uwell/uwell-caliburn-g2-pod-vape-kit

if link doesnt work try vapeclub usa which i cant link too.
edit
just changed vpn and checked out vapeclub usa but they only have the coils and not the kits.

Thank you so much for the links. :)

Sorry for any confusion, I'm in the UK and have lived here for 20 years. I just grew up in the US, which is where I started smoking.

But I can say I certainly don't plan on buying any more disposables, the intention was just as a stop gap while I choose what non-disposable I plan to buy.

I'll be using 0mg nicotine juice. Back before I stopped, I used to mix my own, but I'll probably just buy it ready made now to save time. There is a lot less spare time with youngish kids!

The Caliburn G2 is one of the models I'm looking at... along with about a dozen others, thanks to choice paralysis. ;)

Soz, though you was still in the states. Makes it much easier to post links then. Have a look at the stuck list in new user section for recommended suppliers, can't post link as on phone. And also check the discount section before buying anything as we all like to save some money.
