if you unscrew the button (reverse threaded...be careful not to jam the locking ring tight also) you can look through the hole and see the pole springy thing.
stick a small permanent marker through there, or find another way to mark that pole where the switch contacts it.
Then you can sand that part of the pole...not too much, but a cleaner, flatter area helps. Too flat and the switch wont touch it. So be very careful here.
Take the switch apart (circlip, be careful), and sand all the mating surfaces lightly, put back together and enjoy the mod.
My feelings on this is the contact area is a flat on the switch side, and a round pole on the bottom of the mod..so you are always only touching a very small area. Not good. It also helps to sand the top of the big spring where it contacts the bottom of the battery
