Hotcig RDS coil challenge

I'm hoping someone can help me locate a reputable source to buy coils for the Hotcig RDS,

It was from Heaven Gifts but they have now closed their doors to retail

I've been desperate for new coils since the review, out of all the review kits I've tried this is the one I really miss as the MTL vape was extraordinary.

The only one I've found so far that isn't pre-order is:

But I've never heard of them and generally wouldn't take a punt.

@Vapaneezer Scrooge I know earlier Hotcig pod kits used rebranded SMOK Nord coils.

These are equally likely to simply be a rebranded coil, the MTL coil looks more like a rpm coil whilst the DL coil looks more like a PNP/GTX style coil and I know of several other kits than can use both....

The chances are you already have some, see what fits!

I only have original Nord coils which are way too small at the base diameter, the rest looked similar.

PnP are also too small at the base same with the GTX (DL & MTL).

I was just about to give up but the Smok RPM DL coil fits, off to see if they do a decent MTL option, the tiny airflow hole at the base in the original will be key.

@red5 it looks like you nailed it, they do a 1.2 ohm RPM 'Quartz' (wtf is that?)

Have you tried them? I will be well chuffed if it is these just rebranded as the flavour is why I am so desperate to get hold of em.

I would guess the quartz is a quartz/ceramic with the coil baked into the ceramic like the old vaporesso coils?

Just received a pack of the Smok RPM 1.2 ohm quartz coils, they fit perfectly, sadly the air inlet hole in the coil base is larger so I don't get the tight draw I got from the originals, in fact its more of an RDL draw, it doesn't have that 'wow' factor flavour either.

Hotcig seem to have done something different with their version of this coil

So I'm back to hunting, if push comes to shove I will take a punt on one of the 2 suppliers @Jd_ and @andi52 found.
