How The 2019 Fundraiser will work.

HA!!! No, it was my error. I always add names and edit the day's donations silently, so whilst the original Post for today will show as an example 9.30am, you donation was added as soon as I had checked my PP account just now.;)

Thank feck for that..i thought i was losing me marbles! :D

Rob does a feckin' grand job with this as everyone knows. He lets his own health slide while he's doing this stuff for others!

Doing OK today Chaps and Chapesses. Played with The Meds a bit and I'm winning at the moment LOL.:2thumbsup:

Shaping up to be another good day i think thanks @MavicP :)
I am being a Guinea Pig for a new medication for treating Type2 Diabetes and I am now well into my third week of it and thus far I will say that I am HUGELY impressed, For any Type2 Fellow sufferers, I have tremendous news, Metformin, the evil muck that can wreak havoc upon you, can be replaced, Instead of having to take 4 of the damn things every day, I now have one tiny self administered injection once a week and I am feeling so much better. :)
The even better news is that this med doesn't have nasty side effects and also allows the use of many other meds that previously could not be used because of the evil Metformin, so Happy Days.

So bonus for me and a VERY much more respectable sum beginning to build up for https://www.togetherforshortlives.org.uk :)

That's good news @Rob I'm not a sufferer, but my wife is and uses Metformin. Horrible stuff so any alternatives are good to hear about especially if they are an improvement...:)2

What's the new drug called?

Trulicity @scrumpox :) Been around for about 2 years I believe, but our authority has only just launched it here in Cambridgeshire so there are 6 of us from the same surgery trying it.

I was just gonna ask the same question.

They have that here too. But they charge so much for it here :(
Hubby has no prescription coverage, and average price for it here is $790.00
