how to quit nicotine

Do you mix your own liquids? I mix for a friend and slowly dropped hers til she reached 0, took a month or 2 from 6mg but she never realised, though she did say she vaped more ! Maybe get someone to mix for you or at least add the nic to a mix and reduce it, so that you don't consciously know you have reduced it!

I screwed up by going zero nic too soon, and after vaping for over a year then stopping the nicotine, I desperately wanted a cigarette, so I started mixing nicotine in my juice again, and that’s the way it will stay. I’d rather take nicotine vaping then smoking.

Giving up the nicotine is hard, at least for me. I was vaping 3mg MTL for a couple of years but found I was vaping more than when I was vaping 6mg. I did try for a short period 1.5mg but it wasn't hitting the spot. I guess I dropped it too quickly. So about 6 months ago I started vaping 6mg again (although I still sub ohm 3mg) and as a result I'm vaping a lot less. I do eventually want to get off the nicotine entirely, but like some have alluded to here, it's no more harmful than a cup of coffee (the nic that is). When I'm ready I'll start dropping it back again.

Something to consider when trying to go zero nicotine.
The average cigarette contains around 12mg of nicotine.
If, like me, you vape about 4mls of 12 mg/ml eliquid a day, you are already down to the equivalent of 4 cigarettes a day. After being a 30 to 40 a day smoker for donkey's years, I am happy with that.
