Right, thicker wire is easier to work with and it seems to be working but I have got to this stage before where it works but after a few toots in tastes crap.

Used a tiny screwdriver for the wraps, 4 wraps, attached to posts, used much smaller amount of cotton, twisted into coils and pulled through, wetted cotton and fired it up. All glowing nicely. Added juice and put housing on. Vaping OK, a fair amount of vapour, but a slight burnt taste. Am using Menthol Asylum juice. Will carry on with it, maybe it needs that burnt taste of new wick to work itself out.

My coils are still shite. They look OK when I am making them but when I see them enlarged in photo's they look wide apart and crap.

Also try silica, cotton burns to easy, I know its all the rage but I'll stick with my silica thanks

Hears my mess of a build lol. as long as you have your coils spaced and not touching they should be fine

Just keep at it and you will find what build is right for your taste, I must of gone through meters of wire and wick in the first week lol

Make sure your coil is at the height of the airhole and facing it

Yeah, I've almost used a metre of ekowool now. I don't have any silica but I think I shall order some and try that next.
Where's the best place to get wick and wire?
