Hi everyone hope you all OK and well. i'm going to start mixing my own liquids but i need help!

Little did i know the concentrate i got was a PG mix (wasn't stated on website) now the calculations don't add up as i also got PG based nicotine shots. if i was to change the ratio to 70/30 it would work.

is there a way to make my PG nicotine shots into 70/30 if i mixed up?

Depends on the amount of flavour your using and strength you want your overall nicotine to be so what % of flavour you using and what overall nicotine strength do you want? Oh and how big is the bottle your mixing?

Flavoured concentrates always come in PG as it mixes best. What percentage flavouring and nicotine are you looking to achieve? My maths off the top of my head arent working properly, but with 3mg and 20% concentrates with topping up with VG you should be pretty close to 70/30 but can't work out exact figures.

Have you used a calculator as that will tell you exactly how much of each ingredient you will need.

EDIT: Just did a calculation on above ratios, you will get 63/37 vg/pg

60ml bottle
20% concentrate
1.8 pg nic shots
final strength 3mg nic

go by Jaffa's calculation as steam only went by 5% increments so breaking it down hes spot on.

That's adding 2.1 ml of PG? If he didnt add that itll be a higher VG percentage

I want to achive at least 10MG and the ratio over all 60PG and 40VG. and the concentrate is 25% but if i have to use less i will but i wanted 120ML but can also have less wich ever is easiest. :-)

Yeh you don't have any chance of getting close I'm afraid. Best bet is to get VG nic shots to get to that level.

With those calculations it will be 81% PG. Sorry mate. You could try blagging replacement nic shots from the vendor? But you will most likely have to return them at your own expense

hmmm, for the nicotine shots could i make a base mix to add VG to it? as in like add the shots into a bottle and put the correct amount of VG into it to get 60/40 then add flavour?

That wouldn't make any difference as itll be exactly the same amount of nicotine.

You'll be diluting the nic shot instead of diluting it in the final mix... if that makes sense? You'll get exactly the same outcome but with an extra step...
